Dr. Baker is one of the most caring physicians I have ever met. She is thorough, devoted, and thoughtful. She takes the time to listen to and address your concerns as well as answer your questions. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pcp.
Dr Baker is a good listener and excellent physician. She is always familiar with my lab values and evaluates my medications. She sends me for appropriate tests or therapies when needed. She refers to specialists when needed. Dr. Baker detects emotional cues and is open to discussion in the office or to introduce her patients to community groups or agencies that could help with non-medical problems that may ultimately affect patient health. I never feel rushed. She is very kind .
Saw her once per year for annual exam for three consecutive years. On each visit she appeared preoccupied and uninterested. Also, referred me to OB/Gyn who doesn’t accept my insurance. Was also shocked that telemedicine calls were via zoom which is not a HIPPA compliant platform. Office staff friendly and helpful, but the cold uncaring nature of the physician resulted in me finding care at a new medical practice.
Business response:
Dear M., I am sorry to hear about your experience and I will forward this to our TMCOne Patient Advocate so that they might address it with the physician. Thank you for taking time to share your experience and help us improve our care. Regarding the use of Zoom for telemedicine. Zoom is a HIPAA compliant web and video conferencing platform that is suitable for use in healthcare.
Wonderful and caring Dr.
Never gets back to me! She doesn’t care.
My wife is a patient of hers & a diabetic. My wife just needed her to sign off so she can get supplies for her diabetes & Dr. Baker didn'didn't want to bcus she didn't want to deal with it. Now my wife has no supplies for her pump & woke up with a 700 sugar level all bcus she didn't want to deal with it. Ridiculous!!! Inexcusable!
Awful practice - stay away from that office. My Mom had emergency heart surgery, got home, and had to schedule a follow-up. She called numerous times with the same results "Oh, we will call you" and they never did... 8 days later, there is still no call back, even after 4 calls to them. The doctor should forfeit her license and the office should be closed.
She did not go over test results with me, she didn't respond to any of my emails, she didn't return any phone calls, her staff insisted I was lying about a prescription request, it took 5-6 requests to get prescriptions called in to pharmacy. I had to go over a week without my Metformin due to the staff's laziness. I had to change doctors because she wouldn't get my prescriptions called in.
She is kind and considerate. She is very busy but a very good doctor. She'll listen and discuss my concerns and needs.
