I have been to so many doctors for my issue, and I have never had such incredibly good care as I have experienced with Dr. Behbakht and his team. Dr. Behbakht performed a radical hysterectomy with biopsies as well as a vaginal biopsy and could not have been more thorough, thoughtful, and communicative. He calls personally with pathology results and never seems in a hurry. I could not recommend him and his colleagues at Anschutz more highly.
Dr. Behbakht is one of the most compassionate and skilled physicians I have ever known, and, as a nurse (for 50+years) I have known many physicians. When I was diagnosed, I could have gone to any cancer center in the U.S. but I chose to remain in Colorado because I trust him completely.
Dr. Behbakht was rude, dismissive and arrogant when I was his patient. We had many useless discussions about my case because he failed consistently to listen to me. I cannot rate him as a surgeon. I did have a few post-operative complications but I cannot say whether they were related to his skills or lack of. I would not recommend him because, despite his excellent reputation, he is very difficult to deal with.
