Dr. Ben-David is a top doctor, efficacious and very pleasant, that I was glad to find after 2 1/2 months of inconclusive tests for a stomach mass. He performed a minimally invasive partial gastrectomy using robotics to remove the damaged tissue, which I recovered very fast from and put an end to my nightmare. Wonderful doctor and lovely staff. Thank you.

Dr. Ben-David performed an esophagectomy for me in 2017 as part of my treatment for esophageal cancer. I selected him after a national search for a surgeon who was skilled and experienced in doing this procedure primarily laparoscopically. I found him to be highly accessible, personable and knowledgeable. In 2019 I was diagnosed with a hiatal/diaphragmatic hernia and had considered doing the surgery in Colorado where I live. He performed exploratory surgery on my wife 0n 5-15-2019 because he would not remove 90% of her stomach without a positive sign of cancer (pathology was inconclusive) , saved her life by discovering she had Amyloidosis AL which is a rare disease of the autoinmune system, Thank you Doctor.
Considering the reason for my visit to Dr. Ben-David, it was good and he put my mind at ease and I felt comfortable and safe with him. He also has a nice sense of humor. What also has impressed me is the way he has introduced being mindfulness of patients to the medical and administrative staff at Mt. Siani Hospital.
