It was September 28, 2011 when Dr. Kazanjian performed a laparoscopic-assisted sigmoid colectomy on me. This day I will never forget for the rest of my life. After being told by another surgeon, at another hospital, that I was going to have the traditional invasive surgery, which would probably require a temporary or even permanent colostomy bag, I sought another opinion.
