I am a new patient of Dr. Bigelow's. I have had 2 office visits with him and on both occasions his office staff was very nice, welcoming and thorough. As for Dr. Bigelow - the same - nice, welcoming, thorough and knowledgeable. YES, my appointments were a bit faster than some, however I talked, he listened. He asked questions, I answered. And then he got right down to business ordering the necessary tests and scans needed to diagnose my problem. I was very pleased with Dr. Bigelow and the outcome of my diagnosis. I highly re... read more

I saw Dr. Bigeloe recently. He asked, “Why am I seeing you today?” Before I could finish my first sentence, he interrupted and talked over me. I waited for him to finish speaking. Once again, I tried offering my history. Again, he talked over me. I responded, “Please allow me to finish answering your questions. I’ll give the information you need to provide me with safe medical treatment.” He blew up, saying I was confrontational. He said, “Look, I get to choose my patients, and there doesn’t seem to be a match here,” and he ... read more

The Doctor's technique cannot be topped. Yes, he is quick, but he will be slow if asked.

I went in to ask for my urine to be tested and to figure out why I keep having constant UTI's. I have been in and out the ER since March and he kept focusing on the fact I am transgender and had surgery and not the fact he needs to simply test urine and be a doctor.

Every appointment I’ve had with him has been less than 4-5 minutes at best. He quite literally walks out the door as he’s relaying information. There’s been no opportunity to ask him follow-up questions, so I have no idea if he’s a good doctor or not.

By all accounts, Dr. Bigelow is a very good doctor. However, he rarely displayed any real concern for me and my questions. I "inherited" him as my doctor when my doctor retired and I was just starting a treatment plan. By the time i became aware of his terrible bedside manner, it was too late to switch doctors, so I continued. In my many visits during this process, he was always in a great hurry to get our visit over, as if he was always rushing to the next patient. Several times I had to stop him as he was leaving just to a... read more

If I could give this office 0 stars, I would. This is by far the worst doctors office I've ever been to. Dr. Bigelow was terrible. I was being seen for over active bladder and on my second appointment, Dr. Bigelow examined my bladder but never told me what he found which I was told later by the office manager that he was supposed to tell me what he was seeing as he was doing it. He walked in the room, inserted the camera 2 times in a very non-gentle manner and then told me I also had kidney stones and left the room. That was... read more

This office is the most mismanaged place of business. The surgery scheduler (Katherine) doesn’t check with your insurance company to see if you need to be preapproved. I called my insurance company and they said I do need to be approved. Katherine argued with me but finally she called them and yes I do have a approved code! Dr Bigelow’s nurse called me on a Monday to tell me I needed to be on another antibiotic (6 straight weeks). I asked his nurse to have Dr Bigelow call me. I had not received a call by Wednesday so left th... read more

Dr Bigelow treated me for prostate cancer with a robotically assisted radical prostatectomy. Before choosing surgery, Dr Bigelow went through the different treatment options, explaining the pros and cons of each and answering questions I and my wife had. A combination of the biopsy results and family history made surgery the logical option. Learning you have cancer is never a fun thing, but Dr Bigelow helped put our minds at ease and made us confident in choosing surgery. It's now more than a year after surgery, and I have a... read more
