Dr. Ollington took the time to answer my many questions prior to my first colonoscopy with supportive facts and understanding.
I had my first endoscopy with Dr. Ollington about 7 years ago. At that time he said I had Barrett's Esophagus and needed to have another endoscopy in 3 years. At this next endoscopy, I was given medicine (for some reason) and become very drowsy to the point where I could not really think straight. Dr. Ollington came in and started to explain the patient consent form and I told him twice that I was given medicine and could not understand what he was saying. He had me sign the form anyway. He never saw me in an office visit other than a colonoscopy in which he almost forgot to take a biopsy. He is asleep at the wheel. He was my gastroenterologist for a year and he missed all the warning signs before I ended up in the emergency room with sepsis.
Dr. Ollington was recommended to me by a health care professional who works with him. I am very happy that she did. He is caring and compassionate and knowledgeable. I would recommend him highly to anyone seeking a gastroenterologist.
Dr. Ollington is a careful, thorough and understanding doctor. He makes you feel secure as a patient and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. I look forward to his move to a new practice as the office at North Shore GI is a disaster despite the efforts of the woefully understaffed scheduling dept.
I would highly recommend Dr. Ollington. He has excellent bedside manner and takes the time to explain and listen. I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy and everything went perfectly. Thank you Dr. Ollington for a job well done!
I am sure Dr. Ollington is a very good doctor, but his practice is a distaster. The staff is abrupt, when they are not downright rude. When scheduling appointments and procedures,they are completely inflexible and make no effort whatsoever to accommodate the needs of the patient or to make you feel more comfortable. I would drive a hundred miles out of my way before I would go back to this practice.
I definitely would recommend Dr. Ollington. He is very informative about my situation and so is his assistant Tiana. The only thing I have a problem with is I was given a prescription that was going to cost me $300, so I told my pharmacist I couldn't get it. Then I found a way to get it but they deleted the prescription. I left voice mail for the prescription to be sent back to the pharmacist, twice, and your office never resent it. That is not helping my health problem
