After a trip from Miami I developed severe itching on my back & front torso. It was awful & kept me up at night. No rash present. After seeing my primary doctor, allergist & dermatologist who all were convinced I had eczema (they did allergy testing, biopsy, blood work, oral steroids, topical steroids, sun therapy etc none of which helped).
