Dr. Hansel was my medical doctor for almost 15 years.. On my second office visit; my hands were trembling.. He asked, 'What are you having going on with the tremors? I told him that it is hereditary and that all of my brothers had the same problems, as well as my grandmother on my Dad's side of the family.. Dr. Hanse listened intently and said, 'Let's try something' and we did and the tremors never came back.. He did not seem rushed at all and I felt he took the time to get to know me and to hear my concerns. He seemed very willing to help me navigate some ongoing health issues and for that I am grateful!

Today was my first visit with Dr. Hansel and he would get 10 stars if that was an option. He is everything I have needed my primary care doc to be for so long. One who cares, listens, provides feedback and is interested in developing the patient /doctor relationship.
Dr. Kevan Hansel has been my only primary doctor since we moved here from Raleigh N.C. 15 years ago. On my first office visit; Dr. Hansel asked why my hands were shaking.. I told him that it is hereditary and that it runs in my family, as we age. He gave me a generic prescription for "benign tremors." It stopped the shaking.. ( a miracle to me) Dr. Hansel still observes and listens intently and finds solutions ..I am 80 years old and he has never reminded me that aging might be my problem about any ailments and I have many.
I always receive the most wonderful care from Dr Hansell I highly recommend him to anyone needing a doctor who listens and actually cares.

Dr Hansel explains things very well. He explains where and how studies were conducted for the recommended test or procedures we are discussing. He takes his time with each appointment.
