I would give 10 stars if I could. I went in with really horrible PMS symptoms. He did a blood test and prescribed hormones based on my deficiencies. I actually feel like I’ve gotten my life back. I have steady energy and my emotions are regulated. If you’re on the fence I would take the leap. I am also losing weight with very little effort.
I'm writing this just as a reminder for women to follow their instinct and trust their gut and body. I was seeing Dr. Bruice for HRT. I'm post-menopausal, 5 years and, at the time, I'd been on HRT for 1-1/2 years. I started bleeding for 9 days and about the amount of a normal period. I emailed Dr. B asking him his opinion and he wanted to increase my progesterone from 100 to 200mg. He said the hormone imbalance was causing the bleeding and that he was sure of it. Although Dr. Bruice was the first Dr who listened to my perimenopause symptoms and offered me treatment- that is where my praise ends. He did not wear gloves when taking my initial bloodwork. He did not explain what exactly I was paying for when I paid the initial 1300$ few. He never did follow up blood work. He asked me if I thought we needed to change the dosage of the hormones he had me on- updated bloodwork would have been a much better way to figure that out. This doctor is only concerned about money, & overcharging front office has NO interest in billing Insurance. They should Investigate this practice and be shutdown!
