Oh, Dr. Kimmel…. Would never recommend seeing him as one of your GI doctors. Years ago I met Dr. Kimmel. I was a teenager, so that apparently gave him the upper hand to tell me everything I’m experiencing was in my head. Wrong. I am 27 now, and a few years ago I found a GI doctor who actually LOOKED at my scans, etc. I ended up having something rare called superior mesenteric artery syndrome, which required a duodenojejunostomy (my small intestine got re-routed) it took over 10 years to figure out what was wrong with me.
