Our family has seen Dr. Merchant for around 20 years. Dr. Merchant and his staff have provided us excellent, very thorough care with each visit.
Dr Merchant is a kind and caring person. I have never been disappointed in his care
All the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Dr. Merchant is very knowledgeable and thorough. He keeps the patient informed all through the exam. He has been available in emergency eye situations in the past which helped me tremendously.
Dr. Merchant and his staff are professional, considerate, and through. And the appointment was kept on time! It seems that is something that is unusual these days. A few years ago (before I found Dr. Merchant) I went to a large clinic that had been recommended by my primary care physician, and when I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, I was told I could always expect the wait time to always be 2 - 3 hours because the optometrist was a "professional". I didn't stay.
Dr. Merchant listens to you and is very detailed in the eye exam. I was having difficulty with dryness of my eyes and after the exam, we had a plan and follow up and my eyes are back to normal. I highly recommend Dr. Merchant. Best eye exam in 30 years.
