Dr. Shaffer was possibly the most condescending and uncaring person I've had the displeasure of encountering. I was sent to her as a consult for my doctor and in the few minutes Dr. Shaffer blessed me with presence, she suggested I was overstating my symptoms and my doctor was a fool who couldn't conduct a test nor read the results properly. Her nurse then attempted to draw blood, hitting a muscle and a nerve instead.
Very proactive to finding what the problem is and is further proactive in treating what is happening. Also, takes time to answer all your questions, and does not come across as rushed to get in and out to continue down the list like some specialist can present.
Very professional but also kind and carreing. Her staff is excellent.
Dr. Shaffer has been great. I have been a patient of hers for a couple of years now.
I have never been made to feel as if a medical professional cared less about my health, my concerns or my responsibilities. Dr Shaffer was rude, snapped at me during a pelvic exam and was dismissive of my questions, ignoring me when I expressed concerns. She didn't even say goodbye, just left the room. Leaving,I knew nothing about the procedure she was scheduling until her assistant called me to go over surgical appt scheduling. She had to ask the doctor herself . Horrible experience !
Amazing doctor! We could not be more pleased with the quality of care she gives!
