She listened to my concerns and explained and understood my concerns with rectocele, cytocele and cervix prolapse and incontinence. I had a Medronic neuro stimulator placed by another physician. I highly recommend her.
She barely listened to my concerns and referred me back to my original urologist. She gave a huge sigh of distress when she left the office. Granted my case is complex, but seriously??How disgusting and pathetic. Totally unprofessional!!I’m going to report to my insurance provider. Please don’t go to see her. She’s a disgrace to the profession.
Had a Turp surgery and highly recommend Dr. Shaffer for any male with BPH and find this very hard to speak to a female doctor. She treats it as a problem and she wants to fix it.
Dr. Shaffer was attentive and complete in her examination and diagnosis. She performed my surgery which was extremely successful. I highly recommend her.
Within days of experiencing a very frightening episode of hematuria, Dr Shaffer diagnosed the problem. It was quickly resolved. I am grateful for her skill and compassion. It has been 1 year and I am fine.
Very brief interactions. Only offered radical solutions to what turned out to be a simple problem.
To add insult to injury, after my August 21st visit and being told to leave because she didn't like the way I presented my medical history, she filed a claim with Medicare and Tricare. She did not exam me or treat me. I have filed a dispute for the payment on this claim.
Similar to other reviews, Dr. Shaffer was one of the rudest doctors I've ever encountered. It's difficult to believe any patient would continue to see her. I recommend finding a different doctor.
(Cont.) Included a detailed list of meds I had been on and a current list of meds I was currently taking. The staff gave us an appt. for 2:30 p.m. the next day. There was another form for a release of information that they required to be completed and returned by the morning of the appt. if I wanted to be seen that afternoon. My husband returned it with copy of all of the above and a copy of the discharge papers from the hospital.
