I recently had surgery for breast cancer. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Favre. She is compassionate and caring and really put me at ease. She took time to answer all of my questions and made me feel like she was totally invested in my health and the outcome of my surgery. Her staff is friendly and efficient and made the process of scheduling my surgery easy. The surgery went well and I would not hesitate to recommend her for anyone requiring surgery.
Dr. Kelly Favr has been so helpful and amazing with a difficult, scary situation. I went to Dr. Favr, by referral from my GYN for a suspicious lump in my left breast. After meeting with Dr. Favr, she was suspicious of the lump as well and did a core biopsy. Those results came back, benign, with the chance of it becoming something in the future, so we opted for surgery to remove the lump. I was referred to Dr. Favre through my primary care physician Lynn Struthers. I am thankful for the exceptional referral. It was a wonderful experience considering the stressful parts of waiting for test results, surgery and follow up. I found Kelly to be a consummate professional. Friendly, compassionate and kind. Thank you for being a huge part of my healthcare.
The staff are very friendly. Dr. Favre was excellent. She explained the procedure that was required and was very pleasant throughout the whole process. The surgery experience was great. She was very assuring, knew what she was doing, and most of all, treated me with care and respect. I had minimal pain with the incision site and the wound is healing very well.
Recently saw Dr Favre about a possible inguinal hernia in January. She confirmed initial diagnosis and scheduled surgery the following week. The procedure took about 35 minutes, went home about an hour and a half later. While I wasn’t without pain, I did not need any prescribed pain medication. I have had many abdominal and pelvic surgeries with resultant scar tissue. I saw Dr. Favre for repair of a recurrent left inguinal hernia and a new right sided one. She was successful in repairing both via laparoscope. I always felt like she listened to me and always answered my questions in full. Never felt rushed.
Very knowledgeable
Dr. Favre preformed a laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair two weeks ago and I have recovered quickly and comfortably. Pain management was accomplished with over the counter pain medication only. The surgery was completed in less then thirty minutes and I was home within three hours. My husband was an emergency sepsis situation that began at Encompass Rehab and she was on call at TMC. She tried to talk me out of the surgery, said he might not make it and his cancer was advanced so I might want to just let him go. She left a hole in his stomach that required 3 JP drains, one draining bile. Last night he pulled the most critical one out in his sleep and I called her at 1:30pm and was told, Well he's on hospice, just monitor him for pain.
