I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. For my physical, he basically reviewed the questionnaire I filled out and said the nurse would be in to do my labs. He didn't bother checking my joints or anything just read the paperwork and was done. My husband went in just to have lab work ran and there is a new nurse. She seemed nice, said she came from urgent care and was learning the correct way to do things now that she's in family practice (Scary). Excellent communication skills. His answers are succinct, and he explains rationale for care provided as well as options when patient input is required. He has the ability to be clinical and compassionate at the same time.
My first visit to Dr. Kiser was many years ago when my daughter was only a few months old. We did not have health insurance and she was very sick. I walked into the office and asked if Dr. Kiser would see us and allow private pay. He would and he did. I have never used another Primary Care Physician during my years in Houston. We have been with him for 19 years. He is not a specialist and does not pretend to be. He is always open to discussing treatment and possible side effects of medicine.
I had been searching for a new doctor after mine retired for almost three years. After so many circus offices with multiple physicians and trying doctors that I could not understand. Dr. Kiser and his team are the most knowledgeable.
Always in a rush. I don't believe he takes his patients seriously when symptoms are being explained. Everything is a hassle and everything always includes an office visit. Nice way to get money out of the patient and their insurance.
I drive over an hour to see Dr Kiser on the far side of town and have since leaving Sugarland in 2007. He's an awesome doc.
Be going to Dr Kiser for over 25 years I totally trust is decisions. He is so kind would never go anywhere else
His staff told me that he treats for scoliosis but Dr. Kiser doesn't. They are dishonest and only out to get your money.
I strongly do not recommend Dr.Kiser. He rushes you out and only cares about collecting your money. His staff was unfriendly and incompetent like Dr.Kiser.
