I have seen Dr Mackenzie at least annually since 2008. He has always been thorough, professional & kind. He also has a nice sense of humor. His staff are always professional & helpful. He did surgery on my arm requiring sutures and the results were excellent. My husband also sees him and has had the same positive experiences. You often have to wait, but since I am seeing a very qualified and busy physician, that is the least of my worries.
Very strange comments and will never go back. Rather drive 2 hours on I-17 to Phoenix in construction.
I cannot return to an office where the Dr. makes me feel uncomfortable, as though my concerns are not not important. I was told that if we removed those skin tags the insurance won't want to cover it. What is insurance for? Maybe I pay for it. I just got a lecture about getting a new spf wardrobe for my visit.
My experience at MacKenzie dermatology, with the NP-C named Kim Carlson Stover, was less than good. I was required to wait 45 minutes after the time of my scheduled appointment. A nurse had written down the matters that I wanted to discuss and Kim failed to address each of them. Dr. Mackenzie was not responsive to my individual medical history. He displays only superficial interest.
I moved to Arizona 2 years ago. Kim Carlson with Dr. MacKenzie's office has provide excellent service to both my wife and I.
Waited nearly 30 minutes and was the second appt of the day. The the Dr. spent under 5 minutes spraying my Aks. Problem is that he did not spray long enough and most remained, and it has been 2 months now. Looking for another dermatologist who can take care of the problem spots the first time.
Nicest, most competent and most honest doctor in town! I have to wait sometimes, but I think it is because he gives everyone the attention they need.
