Dr. Sampat Keeran has exceeded my expectations with his compassion, empathy, care and expertise. He always has time for his patients and takes the time to explain the complexities of the disease in way that is digestible and indulges every question with care and patience. My wife has been battling stage 4 colon cancer for 5 in a half years and is a survivor because of the care and treatment she has received from Dr. Sampat and his nurses. We are forever grateful to be under his care.
Dr. Sampat has been treating my stage 4 colon cancer with Folfox and Avastin since June 21, 2019. After 6 biweekly chemotherapy sessions, a CT scan has shown that the parent colon tumor could no longer be seen and that my liver metastases had shrunk as much as 35%. Side effects have been very few and well controlled. I am very pleased with Dr Sampat's selection of chemotherapy protocol in my case and I would recommend him to anyone for treatment of advanced colon cancer. Dr. Sampat is a very professional doctor specializing in hematology. He is concerned and listens intently. I felt he cared about me as a person. He took time to hear my concerns in a very respectful way. He explained what he felt was the best treatment plan while respecting my reluctance in having to change some life style behaviors.
