I was warned about this paediatrician but, like many parents, I was desperate to get my son help and regret not listening. I had to cancel an appointment due to major surgery with complications and a prolonged hospital stay, leaving me unable to drive for 6 weeks. Despite explaining this and offering a medical certificate, I was charged a $725 cancellation fee, which I accepted. Incredibly disappointed with this woman’s communication. We were nervous to take our four year old in for an ADHD assessment and the communication we have received from Kathy and her admin has been extremely blunt and inconsiderate. After the first email; littered with caps, red wording and condescending language, we were alarmed and doubted our decision to work with Kathy Lee but after an email today (that wasn’t relevant to us in the slightest), we’ve cancelled our appointment and made the decision to look elsewhere.
