She is a compassionate and caring provider who helped me through my whole pregnancy and saved my life after delivery complications. Thanks to her rapid response in a very complicated situation, I am alive and enjoy motherhood with my little girl. She was there with me through the whole delivery, post-delivery complication and saw me for a post-partum care. I will never forget her kindness, her support and her love for her patients. It’s amazing to see so many great providers in one practice!

Had partial knee replacement. After 8 months still having lots of pain. Told to give it a full year. It was a year in June. Still lots of pain. Knee also catches. No contact from Kaiser for one year check. Now I find that Dr. Koonce has left the practice.

Dr Kathrine Compton is the best PCP I have ever had. She personally gets all of your stuff completed and she or her MA follow up as soon as they can. I work in the medical field as well and understand how hard it can be to focus on ever single patient, work on Prior Auths and obtain a patients satisfaction. They are amazing.

Anew’s office manager and staff are the most disreputable and unprofessional staff with whom I’ve ever dealt. I canceled an appointment via their website messaging system. Even though I canceled a week in advance and have proof of the appointment cancellation - Anew sent me a $50 cancelation bill. I’ve called the office a few times and their office manager ducks, dodges, and avoids actually speaking on the phone to discuss this fraudulent charge.

I have never been so dissatisfied with the service after a simple office visit. I went for a med check on April 11, 2017. I had insurance at the time of the visit. FIVE months later, I receive a bill for the office visit itself, stating that my office visit was processed through insurance, and should I have any questions, to reach out to them. So I did. My insurance company informed me that they denied covering the visit because the doctor indicated my reason for visit was something COMPLETELY

Summary: Dangerous combination of inattentiveness and lack of detail-orientation. Additionally, front office staff is rude. Details: - Called for help twice in two days with escalating pain on a hypothetical appendicitis diagnosis. There was no reasonable response to either call. I was left dangling, wondering whether my appendix would burst for 30 hours! - Overlooked key details of my CT results when relaying them to me over the phone. I'm glad I obtained a copy of the results directly.

Overall, Dr. Compton is great. I've been seeing her awhile now. However, the office staff makes the environment undesirable and the situation I was put in recently was completely unacceptable. I've decided to move on from her practice with the way things were recently handled. Since you interact with the office team more than Dr. Compton in many cases, the way things are run don't need to be that way.
