Honestly, kind of the worst aspects of specialist culture. Expensive niche (but effective) treatment, and they are aware it's a pain to switch. Appointments and treatment will run you up thousands over a couple years, and the in person mandatory follow ups are extremely short and expensive, with minimal interaction. Once you're on the plan, you're hooked for several years. Saw Dr Karl Baumgart - heard he is "very experienced".... He made the consultation so uncomfortable by being very condescending and dismissive. When I needed to ask some questions about the instructions the test he was giving me - he looked so annoyed, and called me 'up tight', 'nervous', 'anxious' - just cause I had a question! Spent the whole consultation telling stupid jokes instead of giving proper direction and answering my questions - resulted in a failed test.
