This review is for Dr. Amber Milward.The clinic doesn’t allow new patients to meet the doctor beforehand (meet and greet)— you’re expected to book an appointment without any introduction or questions.I was wrongly told by the nurse that patients can’t switch doctors. This is simply not true — patients have every right to choose their provider (CPSO and CMPA confirm this.)
I have been a patient of Dr. Millward for just under a year now, and I could not reccomend her more. Never have I felt so heard and so cared for by a health professional. She listens thoroughly, does not interrupt, and is gentle to ask follow up questions. She is what I think every doctor should model themselves after. Doctor was okay and thorough. However, the receptionist was very rude, arrogant and unprofessional. Sadly would not recommend due to her poor work ethics and terrible Communication skills between herself and patients. She was condescending and did not have the appropriate demeanour nor verbal skills as a receptionist should. Definitely not in the right profession. You think after all this time she would change.

I called the office 12 times in one day without an answer. When someone finally did pick up, I was immediately put on hold, and then hung up on after waiting for a long time. I had a great experiance here being referred from my Doctor who was away, very little wait time, smiling friendly receptionist. Dr Velji recognized my condition and was able to help me. Thank you , indeed a true professional.
