I have been navigating a challenging medical issue since the beginning of 2024. Initially, I consulted Dr. Philip Bosch, a urologist in Escondido, CA, who diagnosed me with Bladder Pain Syndrome. Dr. Kohatsu assisted with delivery of my child via C-section. After delivery and for several months, I experienced extreme pain In my whole abdominal area and was told by her that I needed my cervix removed without any explanation as to why she recommended this as a solution to my pain. I declined the surgery. She was nasty and dismissive of my symptoms, told me my pain wasn’t from the operation, which my pain at the time was mostly near the perineum and near the C-section scar. Love her and her team! Dr. Kohatsu has been my ob/gyn for over 10years. A friend who is also a physician recommended her and I have seen only her since. Dr Kohatsu is an exceptional amd compassionate clinician. During my reproductive years and now as a perimenapausal woman she remains a leader in her specialty. I highly recommend Dr Kohatsu and her entire team for both the medical and cosmetic care provided.
