I went to visit Dr Kamel to get a second opinion on my tri- tib fib ORIF with plates and screws . My ankle surgery was 13 months ago. I have pain on the top of my ankle as well as my big toe. He compared ROM to the good ankle and took his own XRay . He also articulated my ankle and applied pressure to various areas. He told me he was going to refer me to more physical therapy. Very positive experience with Dr Kamel! My surgery was for an Achilles repair that required absolutely no weight on left foot for over a month. Dr Kamel authorized home care and physical therapy until I was mobile again. What a blessing when you are hopping on one foot. Great, courteous service from his office staff, too.
The wait was minimal. Dr. Kamel's staff was prompt and courteous. Dr. Kamel was thorough with the exam and the recommendations. Dr. Kamel was his usual warm and friendly self. I was able to start my meds and regimen the next day.
My experiemce was 5 stars! Dr Kamel and his team of 2 additonal doctors saw me for right heel pain. After reviewing my history, reviewing my exays, and listening to my description of the pain and my concerns, he immediately knew how to help! I was diagnosed and provided exercises and a boot to wear in the evening. Also, he recommended good shoes for my condition.
