He's a really nice doctor. I recently got an endoscopy done by him personally. I love the fact that he is the one there with me all the time. He is very friendly and attentive.
My 11 year old son had a persistent gastric issue, and Dr. Thakkar's thorough understanding, diagnosis and prescription has allowed my son go back to being a carefree child. I cannot thank Dr. Thakkar and his kind, caring staff enough, for the patience and diligence in addressing. I especially was impressed with his method of explaining to my son the situation and solution. I highly recommend his knowledge and services.
My family and I first met Dr. Thakkar when he was with TCH. He dx my girls and have kept them in remission for 5 years. We liked him so well that we followed him to Memorial Hermann. He is easy to talk to, has great bedside manner and has developed a great rapport with my girls. I highly recommend him.
He didn't help my daughter, she had a really bad stomach pain and he didn't give her anything for pain, and just to her to watch what she was eating, what she is doing for a year already.
