I had the opportunity to shadow Dr. Zabel for a semester, as a student many years ago. Before every case, he would take time to thoroughly evaluate every patient chart and consider key points before meeting with his patients. Every patient was important to Dr. Zabel and he would listen empathetically and carefully to all concerns. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to learn from Dr. Zabel and believe he is a great doctor!

I have seen Dr. Zabel several times over the past 4 years. He is thoughtful,careful, and gave me his undivided attention , and provided helpful feedback. He is an outstanding Cardiologist.

Extremely disappointed in an appointment with Dr. Zabel. I scheduled an appointment with him since my mom's usual cardiologist is semi retired and we would have to wait several weeks to see him. We had to wait an hour before he came in and he said he spent the time looking for my mom's records. This was somewhat surprising since he was in the same office/practice as our usual cardiologist and we scheduled the appointment 2 weeks ago.
