The entire Team working with Dr Justin Alexander are incredible! The process from beginning to end was effortless. We are 700kms away from Adelaide and there were no second thoughts from the team to accommodate a Tele appointment. This is obviously extremely helpful when there is so much time and costs involved in having to travel to Adelaide. Dr Alexander was very specific with the damage that was sustained to my shoulder from a fall, he explained what the operation entailed, the physio that was required and the time frame for my shoulder to get back to normal. It is now 3 months into the time from when the operation was done, and I can say that I am about half way to getting there. It hasn't been easy, but I have followed all the instructions from the medical teams and can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Dr Justin Alexander has to be one of the best if not the Very Best upper limb surgeon. He has saved my adult sons arm. Truly. He took on the challenge of the mess it was in from previous failed surgeries elsewhere and has been kind, caring and absolutely Brilliant. Dr Alexander has been treating my shoulder condition for the past year or so and given how pleased I am with the outcome, I want to share my experience. An significant dislocation injury back in 1991, resulted in a total reconstruction being required. At that time an other Sportsmed Surgeon, Dr Andrew Saies (now retired) performed the surgery. We were grateful to Dr Alexander for the fast and personal attention he gave to our needs. He explained my daughter’s injury in terms we clearly understood, identified our options and what was required at surgery. Maddy was fast and professional, organised the surgery within a week as well as follow-up x-rays and consult. Rehab followed exactly as predicted and happily today my daughter is carrying on normal activities.
