I saw this Dr because my PCP was booked. I encountered an infection and had issues with the antibiotic I was on. I had to go to work that morning and thought I had enough time to see the Dr. address the issue and go about my day. I had my uniform on as well. Avoid receiving care from her. I had multiple concerns that went undiagnosed until I switched to another PCP who actually ran the proper tests, diagnosed me, and helped me. Unfortunately, there are some small things that I will have to deal with forever due to not being diagnosed fast enough. Take the other negative reviews seriously; I firmly belive this practicioner only cares about her bottom line. I went to her with symptoms, she said it was just a part of getting older. I asked her to do her job as an internal medicine doctor and she said your blood tests are good. Went back for an annual and she said “I am no longer doing paps”. Didn’t even weigh me at that annual. How can you call it medicine or an annual exam without weight or pap? I started seeing Dr. Parekh back in 2013, and it was one of the most disappointing healthcare experiences of my life. From the very beginning, it was clear that she had no interest in listening to my concerns or addressing the reasons I came to see her.
