Dr. Otheguy was my Urologist while I lived in Pasco County for several years. I strongly felt that he was very competent and skilled in his field. I have moved to another county three hours away and recently visited him for a second opinion because I still feel confidence in his expertise, opinions and in his experience and would highly recommend him and his staff.
Dr. Otheguy and staff are very professional and engaging. Dr. Otheguy provides recommendations and options for treatment based on examination and test results. A most personable professional...always. The tech explained the procedural steps and was reassuring during the process of what to expect. The staff was very professional and kind. A very comfortable environment with a great staff to assure you are in good hands. And I am with Dr. Otheguy and his staff.
Went there today because other doctors have just been sorta brushing me off. Not only was Dr. Otheguy very thorough and understanding but he left no stone unturned. He answered all my questions and scheduled future testing to get to the root of my problem. Ken performed a few minor procedures in house(ultra sound) and explained everything along the way. Dr. Otheguy is an excellent professional, he shows sincere empathy towards his patients, and he does this by taking the time to listen to the symptoms and concerns that the patient has, also to explain in an understandable way about their situation and the procedures to follow. In my case, he ordered immediate studies to really know what my condition was. Truly, his kindness and his sincere interest in helping others make him an excellent professional and human being

From attention to given by persons attending the front desk, the nurse that took care of me prior to meeting Dr. Otheguy and finally meeting Dr. Otheguy was wonderful. I felt right at home and all persons were interested in helping me with my problem.
I received my blood work back and it barely changed from what it was...but the office wanted me to come in for the follow up appointment. I called and explained that the blood work didn't change that much and I would like to come back in 6 months to review my PSA levels then. A week later they send a letter stating that due to non compliance, they are removing me as a patient. Bottom line is they just wanted me to come in to collect more insurance money and my copayment...all to tell me my options. Beware of providers who on... read more
