I saw Dr. Spurgeon for seven years. Seeking help elsewhere was the best thing I ever did. All of that time, she had me misdiagnosed. She put me through ECT at age 25 (it didn't work). She told me that I was being treated for every possible diagnosis and that my entire life would be a struggle. Not so - therapy and medication regimens designed for the things I ACTUALLY have are transforming my life. I am so much happier being treated elsewhere.
