Dr Mendelson failed to collaborate with my endocrinologist or any other specialist about my care. He stopped me from doing physical therapy and prescribed meds that caused awful side effects. He dismissed my concerns that my vestibular symptoms worsened during my hormonal cycle, and basically thought I was faking. I thought when I found Dr. Mendelson that he would help me. He seemed knowledgeable and personable. He told me to stop physical therapy and prescribed and changed various medications that worked for a short while. He did not reorder any neuropathic studies and dismissed a previous diagnosis from a previous neurologist. I thought when I found Dr Mendelson, that he would help me. Cut to several medications later, several diagnoses and traditional testing that often falls short of normative testing standards (does not dig deeper), a dismissal of a previous diagnosis by another neurologist (who was actually on the right track), failure to accurately document my symptoms, and a general lack of understanding of what was going on with me - I chose to stop treatment. Waited 2 months to see this dr and then they call today and cancel my appointment on Wednesday and another wait! Service sucks and so does your office staff! Her tone as if she could care less! Well if You have no patients you have no JOB! The nerve of these women attitudes.
