Had a bad experience with this doctor will never go back to see him no bedside manners whatsoever very arrogant
The brunette Certified Medical Assistant (Natalie) grilled me about why my doctor referred me to the sleep specialist and not ENT yet she had my chart up. This gave me the impression that she didn’t bother to try and look at my after-visit summaries. She made me feel stupid as if I was wasting her time and the clinic's time and that I made a poor decision. I even contemplated just leaving because she made me feel so stupid with her questioning. Test results only come when you call them. They won’t even post the results in the portal. They won’t even respond to messages you send them in the portal. Joshua Portnoy has some extreme attitude towards his clients. Then refers them off to some guy named nick that will overcharge people for older equipment.
I don't do this often but had to share my experience with Dr. Portnoy and his staff. Dr. Portnoy shows empathy and compassion and listens to me and my concerns about my health. Dr. Portnoy's staff is exceptional and responsiveness and always friendly.
So, I went to Dr. Portnoy in August, because I had suspicious nodules in my lungs. They were transitory - some were still there at the 2nd CT scan, some had vanished, bigger ones appeared. He asked me about my asthma (I've had it for 15 years) and told me that he thought the nodules and the asthma were due to acid reflux - aspiration of stomach fluid.
