This was my 4th visit to Dr. Zimmerman. I just had a second MRI of my shoulder tear. Although it had nearly doubled in size over 2 years he did not push surgery but cautioned about how long I have before it is no longer fixable. He always explains everything very clearly and the visit never feels rushed. I’m planning to schedule surgery with him soon.

Dr Zimmerman is an exceptional doctor. He takes the time needed to carefully listen to you about the problem at hand and then closely examines you and reviews x-rays or other films or tests required to make a complete evaluation. Dr Zimmerman then spends the time to clearly explain his diagnosis and recommended treatment and answer any questions you have. He resorts to operating only if it is absolutely necessary. I have been a patient of his for many years and highly recommend him.
