I came to see Dr.Au for a tongue ulcer in 2024 and he told me to wear a mouth guard and gave no medicine to reduce inflammation. I came back every 2 weeks with no improvement and he did nothing for 3 visits. Then I stopped going because he made it seem it needed time to go away. 6 months later I came to see him and he said it could be cancer and he needs to cut it out. No info, no biopsy. Dr Au performed what should have been a simple, non invasive procedure on my mother and then misdiagnosed that he had torn her esophagus. He sent her home and she almost died. His lack of insight and knowledge led her to many surgeries, including two emergency surgeries to save her life. He botched the first one and created additional complications. Dr. Au is terrific! Great personality, very knowledgeable, kind and explains things perfectly. Highly recommend!
Dr. Au would not explain the possibilities that were causing my nasal mucus. He prescribed a medication which I asked about regarding it's effects, yet he did not give me any. After our meeting, I looked online and read from many sides including the Mayo Clinic and WebMD that this prescription could cause major effects and should not be used for more than a few months. I spoke with the him on the phone afterwards and he said he prescribed it to persons for their entire lifetimes and would not acknowledge its harmful effects.... read more
Dr Joshua is a perfect doctor . He explained to me everything about my parotid swelling .did the surgery . He is really caring . I am so grateful and thankful to him and to all his team at his office and at John Muir WC hospital.
