Dr. Alverez has not been helpful at all. I have had nothing but delays & been left hanging with no options twice. He has been abrasive & in my last appointment done right rude.

Dr. Alvarez and Peggy have been great to me over the years. They have always made adjustments to meet my medical needs. They do ask for my input, instead of just telling me what to do. Melissa and Alexis are always willing to help and they are numero uno to me.

I was referred to Dr. Alvarez when my former doctor retired from Baylor. I have suffered from back pain for many years and I have been a patient of Dr. Alvarez for five years now. Dr. Alvarez has always known how to help me actually feel better without having to prescribe me a bunch of medicine. He helps me manage my medicine. I also see his assistants Peggy, Melissa and Alexis. It is comforting to me to know that they are just a phone call away. I would recommend Dr. Alvarez to anyone!
We are moving. I can only hope to find a pain doctor as competent Dr Alvarez. He always treated me with respect and compassion, the way I expect all doctors should. We made some adjustments initially, and much later were able to reduce my medicine a bit. His explanations are clear and his experience is awesome. I am very fortunate to have been in his care.
Dr. Alvarez is awesome! I am a very straight forward person and he tells it like it is. I was tossed around to three other doctors until a friend told me I should go see a Pain Specialist and recommended him. His staff, Melissa and Alexis are very nice and helpful whenever I need something. They even have a Patient Advocate that I can call on if I need to. I have never been to an office before, where I feel like the entire staff treats me like family
Absolutely horrible office staff. Rude and condescending. He is only interested in getting your money. Screwed up a procedure he did for us and now I can’t walk without a walker. Refuses to even consider that he messed up and won’t even help with filling out FMLA paperwork so I don’t lose my job. Completely uncaring. Don’t use this office or this doctor. So utterly disappointed in someone who is supposed to “do no harm”.
