Dr. Eastern was my derma for 5 YEARS. Treated acne, suspicious moles, nonspecific patchy dry skin. First thing is first, wait is absurd. Seems to pack in more appointments than he can take in one day, and then everybody waits. One time nurse took me into an exam room, as I walked by his office, saw him sitting there reading a magazine. I was stunned. Do that on your own time! Please do not see this doctor. I waited about 3 hours to see him. When he came in the room he was scared to even touch me, what kind of doctor is that. I suffer from psoriasis mild in the scalp he barely took a look at it. Stepped out of the office then only to wait 15 minutes more and he never came back but send the nurse in that was giving me my diagnose.. Hello where is your medical degree in DERMATOLOGY. I went to see this doctor and waited almost two hours in the waiting room. Only to have him see me for two minutes. He also misdiagnosed me as I got a second opinion because my issue was not clearing up. The nurse or assisant was actually the one to read and confirm my skin culture. the wait time is out of control, i waited over an 1 1/2 to see him, i asked and they said the thats what it is, too rude wouldnt be going back
Waited close to two hours having arrived my appointment on time. Would have been nice if staff or dr acknowledged the wait and offered a kind word. I understand the economics of doctors office and unfortunately waiting is part of the game these days. Overall not satisfied will not come again.
As most reviews state, long wait in the office (at least an hour past appt.) for a 5 minute visit. Could use more "bedside manner" and not rush through visits. No doubt he knows his stuff though, I just think he forgets the "people" aspect of his job. He's not mean - just in, diagnose and out..
i highly dont recommend this doctor. my experience is pathetic. we went to this doctor for baby eczema when my baby is 3 months old. He gave us cutivate 0.05 %, blue lotion(his product) and recommend to give oat meal bath.then in my next visit he asked us to continue using cutivate which is a steroid and epiceram.my baby condition become worst than before. we couldnt stop cutivate also. Ok, you will wait at least a half hour, period. On Monday nights, that's their evening hours, maybe up to an hour. That's anywhere you go as well, so deal with it. Is doc's review short and fast, in and out, yes, for the most part. Does he know his stuff, most importantly, yes. Office staff, and the nurses are great. Been going to him for over 6 years. This Dr. has the worst bed side manner I have ever expeienced. He has no social skills. He barely looked at the problem area on my face before giving me some medicated cream that just irritated my entire face. I waited 2 hours in the office before seeing the Dr.
