The staff was mostly great. Lucy was pleasant and kind. Cynthia, the hygienist, was gentle and thorough but sadly didn’t offer me a topical fluoride treatment. Dr Reed was unimpressive on every level. He recited a poorly developed long-winded, fast-paced, and analogy-ridden spiel about the jaw bone but never connected it to any suggestions to guard the health of my teeth. He never mentioned the state of my dental health at all!
I have never had a dentist or doctor's office in over 50 years of being an adult set an appointment for one time, that I wrote in my calendar and I got a confirmation text on, and then set a different time for the confirmation. I did not see the time for the confirmation and just assumed it was for the same time the appointment was set for. I have to take 2,000 mg of Amoxicillin before any dental cleaning or anything. If you want a dentist that will give you attitude or seem like he doesn’t care to help you go to Dr.Reed ,he’s the single worst dentist in the country he’s very rude and doesn’t have any bedside manner whatsoever everyone else there is amazing and are super nice and good at there jobs.He looked at my teeth for 2 seconds and asked a backhanded question and then walked off before i could even answer.Then without even trying to help he told his assistant to just send me somewhere else. I had a 2pm appointment today on April 13, 2026 and no one is there. The office is locked up and no cars. Other patients showed up when I was there that also had appointments. Have they closed down or gone bankrupt? I will miss them.
This was my first time at Arlington Dental and I must say this was one of the most pleasant and welcoming dental offices I have ever been to. From the front desk to the dental assistant. Dr .Reed was very informative and passionate about educating me on healthy teeth and dental hygiene. I went in for a toothache that had me in excruciating pain. Let’s just say I left with a smile on my face and no longer in pain. I will definitely be returning for other dental enhancements in the near future and I would recommend 10/10.
