Terrible experience. He was cold, rude, and responded to my questions with impatience. He performed an inappropriate "test" which I found out later was not a legitimate medical procedure.
Had a colonoscapy and endoscapy and the prep and procedures were so easy! was quite nervous prior!
My mother was misdiagnosed and in severe pain for nearly a year with Dr Pusateri. We got a second opinion thank God.
I've struggled with Crohn's for decades, but Dr. Pusateri got me into remission and off of all medications. He doesn't do anything invasive unless it's absolutely necessary, since sigmoidoscopies and other instruments only aggravate your condition. He's busy and overbooked like every other doctor on earth, but when you're there, he stays as long as you need him, explains things clearly, tells you what matters and what doesn't as far as your condition, and he listens to you. Very satisfied with this physician. Was very personable and knowledgeable. His team at St Margaret's hospital - awesome. Kurt, Gerald, Patti ... all experts, friendly and put me at ease prior to procedure. Will go back to this physician and the GI team at St Margaret's.
Terrible Doctor, misdiagnosed me, now have severe problems, terrible bed side manner, does not know his profession whatsoever, horrible please do not go to him
I would absolutely NOT recommend. I was hospitalized and he was consulted.Overly arrogant and disrespectful. If I said something he wasn't interested in he would say I am GI. I don't care about that. He would ask a question. Then he would feel he had enough info and would literally say stop talking later he would say you can talk now. Seriously? Wow? I am a person, and he is paid for his time. I would never see or recommend. This is a new age. Patients have options.Just say NO to him!
