I had the pleasant experience to have had several vein procedures done by Dr. Magnant and his wonderful staff. I was initially seen by Jill Tanner NP-C who addressed my concerns and discussed treatments available. Dr. Magnant explained exactly what he was doing during my procedure with minimal discomfort and minimal recovery discomfort. He and his staff are extremely professional and I would highly recommend Vein Specialists to anyone considering vein procedures.

Wonderful experience with office staff - Nurse Practicioner and Dr. Magnant. Had laser procedure on leg - no pain- no discomfort- Sterile technique observed the entire way (I am an RN). Post procedure no complications or pain. Feeling great!!! Like the music too during the procedure.

Dr. Magnant is professional, friendly and approachable As soon as he introduced himself his manner put me at ease. Both nurses in OR were attentive, caring and absolutely wonderful. Then as Dr. Magnant performed the procedure he explained what he was doing, answered any questions and was kind and compassionate. I would recommend Dr. Magnant and his staff to anyone who needs this procedure, or any vein treatment.

I have had 2 appointments to see Dr. Magnant and both times I was treated by a nurse. I was told that he does not see patients until all tests are done. In other words, the nurses diagnose our problem - not the doctor. We are charged for a doctors appointment but he just can't quite make the time for an appointment to actually see, examine, talk or listen to the patient. even though we have made the appointment and was absolutely charged the full fee to see him, we are not important enough to spend even 5 minutes with a pati... read more

My first procedure was on my right leg in mid November and my left leg was done in December. The day after my right leg was done felt so good that I walked the 5k Turkey Trot at Hertz Arena. My thigh was wrapped and I was wearing my compression socks. Then 10 days after my left leg procedure and my final ultrasound, I ran a 10k in Clearwater. It was not my best time, but my goal was to complete it and that I did. Since then I have ran a 3 more 5k’s.
