Dr. kim is extremely personable, friendly and takes the time to explain what is going. He was able to find the cause of my problem and took the necessary steps to resolve it. I had a fusion about 3 weeks ago, so a little to early to give any feedback on that. Hopefully I will be pain free soon! I can’t say enough about what a great doctor he is and also a very caring person in general.
Dr. Kim is one on the very best doctors, if not the best I've ever dealt with. He is extremely personable, friendly and takes the time to explain what is going on which is very rare these days. And his level of expertise is 2nd to none in being able to find the root cause of your problem and taking the necessary steps to resolve them. I cant say enough about what a great doctor he is and also a very caring person in general.
I had a very good experience. The staff was very polite, professional and organized. I had X-rays taken and saw Dr. Kim within 5 minutes or so after that. He was personable and professional. He explained options to me very well, but would not commit to a procedure before looking at an MRI. I’m waiting to be scheduled for that now.
I saw Dr Kim at the OrthoVa St Francis office on May 13, 2020 to be evaluated for some ongoing pain following my spinal fusion surgery on March 10, 2020. Once my x-rays were taken (very quick process) I was led to the exam room to wait for Dr Kim, which took less than 5 minutes. There he reviewed the x-rays and explained that I was healing beautifully and that the pain was most likely muscular and should pass in the next month or so. An Amazing Doctor who is not only knowledgable, he is personable and professional. Performed neck and left side back surgery on me. He is the only Doctor I will allow to ever perform back and neck surgery on me. Due to a second auto accident I will have to get a plate redone in my neck; which got broken and I will need back surgery on the right side of my back. Dr. Joseph Kim M.D. is a valuable asset to the medical profession and community. 5 stars. If the ratings were any higher, he would be off the charts. Million Stars.

Very pleasant at all times. He did my cervical spine surgery now seeing him for lumbar issues. I trust Dr Kim with decisions. He explains everything in detail and cares about his patients .
