Dr. Schaufele listens, examines and makes multiple recommendations as to appropriate treatments, allowing you to make a choice between the various options for your circumstances. Fantastic bedside manner. Not many doctors have the ability or willingness to be a partner in your medical care.
Dr.Schaufele is an excellent physician . He is very courteous , thorough ,efficient and addresses a patient’s needs with empathy and practicality . I highly recommend him .
Dr Schaufele was very professional, on time, thorough, attentive, very knowledgeable, extremely personable! I used to be a nurse, so I was truly impressed with him!! His staff was also professional, personable & kind. It was a great experience!!
Seeing Butz was never the problem nor was his office help. He left, closed his NM office without notice and left us all in the dark. Turned off the phone rather than leaving a message for his patients. I found out 3 days before my prescriptions needed to be filled. 2 of those days were the weekend. No meds Monday. His California office is telling me the same old tired lies. We don't have your records. He closed his office so he can't write prescriptions in NM any more. For shame!
Dr Butz has been front and center to the quality of my life since he came to Chico. He is brilliant, creative and exceptionally talented at exploring multiple avenues of successful pain management. His calendar is in constant “overload” due to his caring talents. For more than 15 years Dr. Schaufele has managed my complicated back pain diagnoses. He is caring, empathetic, and extremely skilled in the OR. He has helped me continue my nursing career, but most importantly my quality of life. I have never found him to be hurried and he listens to my concerns. We develop a plan together and then proceed. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the entire visit was great. The front desk and staff were all friendly, helpful, efficient-but not rushing. Dr. Schaufele didn’t hurry us through the visit either, but was quick. He took time to explain what might be going on with my back, we talked about a plan for getting me better, he explained the meds he prescribed, and what we would be looking for over the next few weeks. I felt well taken care of and knew I was in good hands. 10 out of 10 - highly recommend!
