I'm nearly at the end of the Running on empty National bestseller. Reading this book has answered so many questions for me. Some that no amount of therapy would help me with as I never heard them mention an emotional neglect and what does that empty space means in adulthood. I think all therapists and those who care about someone suffering with depression and lows should have a read of Dr. Jonice Webb's work. It's makes sense and it's easy to read.
Running On Empty has completely reparented me, even though I am no longer of that age. It has given me intangible tools to build a new version of myself, equipping me with better emotional armour to withstand and override the negatives of CEN.
