The University of Washington's student health center is named after my great grandfather, Dr. David C. Hall, MD. My wife Mikka and I have been married for 9 years, spending most of them in Vermont where I did my training. I can’t say enough about Dr. Hall. He thoroughly explained everything involved with my bunion surgery, which was a huge success! He is very caring and puts your concerns first. I highly recommend him and the entire staff.
I recently had my last visit (post op) for a recent foot surgery (bunion correction and an ankle tendon reconstruction). I'm hiking now pain free for the first time in about 10 years. I put this surgery off as long as I could. I had the right foot done in 2019 and the left foot in 2020. The change is amazing. Dr. Hall was spot on with telling me what I could expect. Dr. Hall and his entire team provided intelligent and compassionate care w generosity through every step.
Dr. Hall is professional and personable. I am very pleased with the outcome of surgery. Looking forward to many hikes and walks with my family now that my foot is fixed.
Had a total ankle performed with amazing results. He listened so carefully to my questions and any concerns I was having. I am referring him to my friends who are looking for an ankle/food specialist. He is the best!

I had to have my foot basically rebuilt; bunion, hammertoe, fallen arch. I was very nervous as I am a nurse on my feet all day as well as an active person. Here I am less than 4 months out of surgery, walking 4 miles plus several days a week as well as working 3-4 days per week. I had minimal pain and feel as if my foot is completely healed! Dr. Hall took his time to explain what would be done during surgery, recovery time and was patient, totally nice and obviously a great surgeon since I had no problems post operation. Never had to touch any stronger pain medication than acetaminophen. Highly recommend Dr. Hall!
