Very Professional , and informative.
Intelligent, humble and talented. I had a microdiscectomy performed by Dr Sales in July. I was up and walking in a hour, I was almost back to normal. Unfortunately for me 4 months later a small bulge reappeared. Although not large in size it has been a literal pain in the butt and leg. Dr. Sales saw me once again and explained my options and gave his honest recommendations. I would not hesitate to use him as a surgeon again.

After being hit head on by a drunken driver, Dr. Sales took on the task of repairing my spine. I am eternally grateful for his talent and success in my case. It is because of Dr. Sales that I live in much less pain every day. There are not enough words to describe my gratitude.

Dr. Rafe Sales performed an L2 fracture/fusion on my spine in October 2010 and even though I have a 'new normal' regarding pain management I have got to say that the entire experience since my injury and up to now (June 2017) hasn't been anything like I have been told by others who've dealt with similar procedures. I believe he did a wonderful job and he has an awesome bedside manner as well. Thank you Dr. Sales and you're still as cute as you were when you first came to see me in the hospital!

Summer of 2016 I hired the wrong personal trainer and severely herniating my L5/S1 disc. My personal doctor recommended I see Dr. Sales and I am forever grateful. My surgery was Sept. 2016 and my back is 100%, and has been since Jan. 2017. The sciatica was immediately gone after surgery (which is epic in itself) and I carefully followed the post procedure instructions & physical therapy. If you have a back injury, you don't have to live in pain, do yourself a favor and call Dr. Sales.

Poor communication about what to expect post-surgery. Staff provided conflicting information. Was treated rudely and dismissively, especially by the Patient Coordinator. I was in the most pain I've ever experienced post surgery and was given little care and attention. I would not recommend.
