If you have an elderly parent, please read this. My mother, who is 77 years old, has now suffered two broken femurs while under the care of this clinic—both believed to be caused by medication-related impairment from prescriptions they continued to write without caution or verification. If I could give negative stars I would. Dr. Covey put me on 600 mg of Lamictal, which is WAY beyond a normal dose. This dose put me in a drug induced psychosis which lasted months and almost ruined my life. You also can’t quit that medicine cold turkey or you could have a seizure and die, so it took a long time to get back to normal. He actually laughed in my face when I asked him to get me off of this med, which I have recorded and my husband witnessed. Do not trust this man.
This doctor put my on cymbalta in 2021 and I have been on it since. He neglected to inform me about the terrible and awful nature of getting off this drug, people liken it worse to hard drugs or alcohol. IF I KNEW ABOUT THIS I WOULDNT HAVE GONE ON IT! After all this time I have come to realize the drug has made me full of RAGE. Being on and getting off this drug has literally sent my life spiraling, my marriage is in a tough spot on top of my being mentally unstable and feeling miserable for as long as I have. HORRIBLE!!! This “Doctor” would prescribe my mother with WAYYYY too much medication. My mother had surgery not too long ago and her surgeon was VERY concerned on how much of certain medications she was on to the point where the pharmacy is refusing to refill them. He has horrible bedside manners and gives you attitude, his receptionist is NEVER there and “works from home” she is super late as responding to emails or calls sometimes she never gets back to you.
