Dr. Covey is not a good doctor. I went to him and was telling him some things that were causing issues with me and he told me he did not get paid to listen to me. I had to wait 45 minutes past my appointment time. He charged a ridiculous fee for my first time appointment. My mom also had seen him in the past and quit going to him because he was not listening to her concerns and trying to change her medication that has worked for her for several years. I would never recommend him.
I'm not sure who's rating them one star or if whoever has maybe had a one off experience. What I will say is that in my experience these past few months seeing Dr. Covey, he's been nothing but great. I've seen many "professionals" who don't seem to care and try to get you in and out or just put you on any medication without really diving deep to understand what you might need. I haven't run anywhere near this problem with Covey, as he is very detailed and works with me to find out what's best for me to help resolve my sympto... read more

I had finally marshalled the courage to go see a mental health professional, Dr. Covey, today. I had not finished all of the paper work/questionnaire, (approx 20 pages worth) upon my arrival, though the pertinent payment/insurance paperwork was indeed completed. My fiance has struggled to find a good doctor accepting patience in the springs. She went to Dr. Covey because of his open schedule and willingness to get her in right away. Come to find out the experience would be so bad, she would come home in tears.
