Office staff rude and not helpful with patient needs for additional outside care. They are not efficient in answering phones during working hours and sometimes don't answer at all. There is no voicemail so you just have to keep calling back. I can't recommend the Dr. since the office staff is such a bad reflection.
In regards to actual office visits, they aren't too bad; however, Chancellor isn't always so great at listening to your concerns. In turn you need to get a second opinion. In regards to needed medical care from them, their nurse Deedee has a great habit of hanging up on home health nurses and patients. The office itself is very impatient and seems quite inconvenienced when you call their office for any questions whatsoever. I would recommend finding another doctor if possible.
Dr. Chancellor was our family physician for all the years we lived in the area. We enjoyed world-class care and compassion. Could not ask for better. Now that I've moved far away, I remember Dr. Jon and his team with gratitude and affection. Special thanks to D., his nurse, whose care and assistance made all the difference throughout some difficult years.
Betsy and I have been patients of Jon's for about 3 years. We have enjoyed working with Jon to ensure we maintain our quality of life. He has been an excellent physician. He listens and questions to get the whole picture. He offers suggestions and provides direction to maintaining our health. He doesn't seem to order an endless number of labs and he suggests the fiscally efficient places. I enjoy very much that he seems to like helping his patients rather than going through the "process".
He may be a good doctor, the rest of his staff however needs to learn how to act like a professional. Hiring new staff then firing one a few days later via a text is beyond unprofessional, it is rude. As a manager, one should know your professional limits. If you can't multi train at once, you need help, don't fire someone via text. That person has a family at home too. Find another office that handles everyone, patients & employees with dignity.
I truly liked Dr. Chancellor. He was warm, welcoming and made me feel very comfortable, but mostly that my well-being was his primary concern. His staff however, mainly his office manager made me feel anxious, a bother, She was rude and argumentative. Because of her treatment i will have to find another doctor.
Dr. Chancellor is wonderful! He takes extra time to help you understand your medical and health issues, he is very kind, and very compassionate.
Dr. Chancellor is an excellent doctor and very knowledgeable. The office manager is not professional in the way in which she deals with the patients! This rating is based upon the unprofessionalism of the Office manager.
Dr. Chancellor almost does an interview of your life before any treatment. He asks pertinent questions on your health history and current issue. I really think he is a good doctor as he spends the time to listen to your questions and gives you the choices for you to make an informed decision on your health care.
