I’ve never left a review for anyone or any business before—that’s how horrible the experience with Dr. Costano was. I will say that getting an appointment into the office and then the wait time went extremely well. We were referred there from an ENT office for a procedure that our local ENT office does not perform. I took off work and my son took off school, we drove 1.5 hours to see this specialist. I took my son to Dr. Castano twice and we absolutely love him. He is friendly, warm, understanding and relatable! I appreciate doctor who can relate to me or my children. He has a baby who is 4 days younger than my son! I first took my son to him when he was newborn with the concern he might have had a tongue tie. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case! This doctor is rude and unprofessional. I felt talked down to and he showed lack of professionalism to the referring doctor. Acted like we were wasting his time. Did not try to talk my son through process or make him feel comfortable (he is only 5.) And he was rough and forceful without asking me to help or, once again, trying to make my son a little comfortable. He made him cry in pain from checking his ears. Horrible physician. Took 5 minutes with my sister in law and 1 month old nephew as he has tongue tie and some breathing issues that the pediatrician thought was necessary to have address by an ENT. Instead the topic of discussion was the fact that she hadn't breast fed so his tongue tie that another physican deemed needing fixed was disregarded completely.
