I would not recommend Dr. Wiemann as a surgeon. He was at Dayton Children’s Hospital in Ohio until he left town shortly after what he did to me. He completely paralyzed my left leg after carelessly damaging my spinal cord with one of his instruments during my first spinal fusion surgery. I was too young to make him pay for his crimes and he left town anyway. I just want to help prevent this from happening to someone else and to tell people to stay away from this dangerous man.
My daughter was referred to dr weinman in August and finally got an appt to see him in November.. the week of the appt, the receptionist calls and tells us the dr will be not be able to attend the appt due to going on a last minute vacation. I was upset but agreed to reschedule an entire month away on Dec 28th. The day before I get a call again from the receptionist stating that the dr will not be in the clinic for our appt and they don’t know when he will be back. My daughter had a small humerus fracture on her right arm. We went to the urgent care, x ray was taken, doctor said it was a humerus stress fracture and that it should heal in 6 weeks. He recommended us to visit an orthopedic to get additional support/opinions. We called and scheduled and appointment for a patient visit. First they wanted us to wait 5-7 days before they can get us in, we had to push to get an appointment in 2 days. 1. Got Next day appointment (without referral !) 2. Quick check-in (We were a new patient) 3. Efficient front office check-in and check-out staff. 4. Back office was open layout, well-organized and staff communicated clearly. 5. Physician (Dr Weimann) was very thorough, gave more than one treatment option and answered all the questions. 6. Ortho technician was competent. Overall, Excellent customer experience. I Recommend them without reservations.
