So many issues from the first referral from my insurance, his team was not approved to do injections at the facility he used. Paperwork problems, approval issues, my back increasing got worse, no pain medicine other than injections offered, 2 urine drug screens, despite tears and he stated surgery would not help plus suggesting a spinal cord stimulator. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Wages for about 12 years. He has never hurt me during any procedure. He’s very accurate when treating the nerve controlling the pain. He’s kind and caring. He’s busy because of all the patients he treats, but he takes the time to listen. He is not a doctor to over medicate, but meets in the middle with the needs that care for the pain. This doctor was HORRIBLE. My disabled veteran friend was his patient and I took him to the appointments. Dr. Wages didn't ask him about his pain, offered no treatment modifications when my friend said he was in a lot of pain, and literally started walking out of the room when I was in mid conversation with him pushing for him to try other options to help my friend with his pain.
