I was delighted with the time that Dr. Pierpont spent with EMG readings for my peripheral neuropathy. It took an hour to collect all the data. He is very personable and made my diagnosis by the end of the appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Pierpont for neurological cqre.
I found the office staff extremely friendly. Nice clean rooms. I also found the doctor blunt but very nice. He diagnosed my problem and suggested concrete ways to deal with it. Nice handshake.
I visited this doctor after finding it difficult to find someone who knows about atypical trigeminal neuralgia type 2. He visited with me for less than 10 minutes. In that time he told me I was a liar and to go elsewhere. It took months to get this appointment, and less than 10 minutes to crush my hopes for getting help with the extreme pain I deal with every day. Took another few months to get an appointment with someone else to start the process over. Do not recommend.
He may not be the warmest doctor I've visited but who cares, he knows his medicine, explains things appropriately, pushes for the necessary testing to properly diagnose the patient and follows up appropriately. Staff is efficient and friendly and unlike most of my doctors, Dr. Pierpont actually sees you at the appointed time!
I’ve been seeing Dr. Pierpont for several years for my Multiple Sclerosis. His staff is helpful, professional & friendly! Dr. Pierpont always calls personally if I’m having an MS exacerbation, and explains his plan of care, both for the current flare-up, and what to expect for the future
I don’t recommend him. I thought he was dismissive and uncaring.
Terrible disposition. Does not listen, is arrogant and unprofessional. Don’t go to him, there are lots of good doc’s out there. He is terrible.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Pierpont for several years for management of Multiple Sclerosis. He’s up to date with current treatments and does a thorough nuerological exam at each visit. My only complaint is he won’t treat co-morbid conditions like insomnia, and neither will the sleep specialists or PCPs. Everyone says it’s someone else’s area, so the patient is left hanging.
Wow!!! I was diagnosed by a Non-Neurologist with a rare form of Neuropathy and referred to Dr. Pierpont for treatment by my health insurance (Tricare). He REFUSED to treat me because I already had an EMG test done by this same Non-Neurologist, which was how we found out that I had Autonomic Neuropathy in the first place. Apparently, he has a policy that says if you have had an EMG (maybe other exams too?) with another doctor, he will not see you... period. Unbelievable!!! Rude staff!!!
